Elizabeth Jick is a founding Managing Director of Zions’ National Nonprofit Group. Previously, Elizabeth was the Managing Director of the Public Finance Department at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. for 16 years. She currently serves as Vice Chair of AJC New England and on the Leadership Council of Facing History & Ourselves (she was also Past Treasurer). In addition, she remains actively involved with: Combined Jewish Philanthropies (Immediate Past Treasurer), Gann Academy (Honorary Trustee/Past President), Beaver Country Day School (Trustee Emeritus/Past President), and Jewish Teen Foundation of Greater Boston (Founder & Past Advisory Council Chair).

Susan Winshall is a founding Managing Director of Zions’ National Nonprofit group. She started in public finance at Oppenheimer & Co, Inc. in 1985, prior to joining Zions in 2001. As a senior investment banker, Susan brings creative and tailored solutions (both tax-exempt and taxable) to complex financing challenges faced by Nonprofit clients from a range of sectors. Her diverse national client base includes museums, senior housing, social service organizations, theaters and educational institutions. Susan is recognized for unparalleled client service, merging borrower needs with sophisticated lending solutions and a deep understanding of her clients’ priorities. Susan was a member of the Board of Directors of the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health.

Bryan Erickson works as a Financial Analyst on Zions’ National Nonprofit Finance team, assisting with tax-exempt and taxable nonprofit transaction financing and services. Bryan attended Hamilton College, where he majored in Economics, and earned an MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. Prior to business school, Bryan worked at Verizon Wireless with federal and government accounts, and as a discretionary fixed Income trader at a proprietary trading firm.

Mitchell Carnahan works as a Financial Analyst on our National Nonprofit Finance team, assisting with tax-exempt and taxable nonprofit transaction financing and services. Mitch attended BYU-Idaho, where he majored in Business Finance. Prior to joining the team, Mitch was part of the Officer Development Program where he gained valuable experience in multiple areas of banking including Specialty Loan Servicing, C&I Lending, Treasury Management, and Dealer Finance.

Catherine McCarthy joined Zions in 2008. She is responsible for public finance administraton for the National Nonprofit group. She oversees all aspects of the office administration, proposal preparation and all computer technology operations. Catherine received her bachelor of Science in Business concentration in Marketing from Merrimack College.
